Toi Te Kupu is a Māori-language magazine produced for students in wharekura. In this issue, we celebrate the 100th issue of Toi Te Kupu and its 22nd birthday. Tāmati Waaka provides encouraging words and tips for taiohi wishing to participate in Ngā Manu Kōrero speech competition. We look at some events from the past year, such as Te Matatini in Christchurch and the New Zealand women’s Kabaddi team. We also talk to All Black TJ Perenara and look at the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
