Description

Kua Tohunga Kē Au! is a story about Internet safety. The central character is a 10-year-old boy named Tama who persistently pesters his mum to allow him to play games on the Internet. Tama’s mother is adamant that he needs to learn about Internet safety first.  Despite his mother’s warnings, the temptation of Internet games is too great.  When playing a game online, Tama starts chatting to a new friend named ‘NeneKaRA1819’. Eventually, the friendly Internet chat turns nasty. It’s too late when Tama realises he has given away too much private information to a total stranger about his family.
