As we continue to grow, we are in the unique position of being able to offer a variety of opportunities for people who are keen to help us fulfil this vision. We have exciting opportunities in operations, content development, sales and marketing, and project management for motivated, creative and customer-focused team players who can support a high-performance culture.

HUIA Resource Developers work with teachers, subject specialists and language experts to develop quality educational resources. With over 600 schools in Aotearoa teaching all or some of the curriculum in Māori language, it is essential that the quality of the language and the information in the resources meets the needs of teachers and students.
We are particularly interested in increasing the number of people writing and illustrating educational resources in Māori language. These include materials in the areas of:
te reo Māori – reading and literacy
pūtaiao – science
hangarau – technology
tikanga-a-iwi – social studies
If you are interested in working with HUIA on developing our Māori educational materials or you are an illustrator, designer or photographer interested in working with HUIA, please send samples of your work and your CV to HUIA Publishers.
