E pā ana ngā waiata nei ki ngā āhua momo kaupapa mai i ngā tikanga, te hauora, te mahi nanakia a te kararehe, ngā mahi haumaru tae atu ki te whakakoakoa noa iho i te mokopuna . Ko ngā kohinga waiata nei ko, Motokā Iti Rawa E, Kia Tūpato, Inu Miraka, Whakaahua Tūpuna, Tītī Tōrea, Homai tō Poho, Ngā Matikara, Tuna Parapara, Ngā Punua me ngā Pīpī me Takiwaru (Whai i te ora).  

Description

This resource is a collection of 10 waiata composed and sung by Moehau Reedy and Henrietta Maxwel for kōhanga reo. They were recorded for Radio NZ by Piripi Walker in 1984. Some of these songs are still being sung by our mokopuna, especially Motokā Iti Rawa E, Tītī Tōrea and Inu Miraka. These waiata cover topics of tikanga, health, safety, anmals and just fun. The titles are, Motokā Iti Rawa E, Kia Tūpato, Inu Miraka, Whakaahua Tūpuna, Tītī Tōrea, Homai tō Poho, Ngā Matikara, Tuna Parapara, Ngā Punua me ngā Pīpī and Takiwaru (Whai it e ora).
