Product Review

"James George's prose is infused with rare lyricism. 'Hummingbird' is a sweeping epic which combines both magic and real elements."The New Word
"The shape and form of the novel can also be thought of as quilted, deftly stitching together different narrators and time-frames to create what becomes a single story."Louise O'Brien - New Zealand Books
"...extradordinarily beautiful, thoughtful and moving...delivering an emotional punch that reminded me of Keri Hulme's 'the bone people'."New Zealand Herald
