John Utanga

John Utangā (Cook Islands) has been an established journalist for more than 20 years, after moving to New Zealand to attend the University of Auckland.

John has had a longlived career as a reporter for TVNZ and is currently working on Tagata Pasifika. He is also on AUT’s Pacific Media Centre advisory committee and is a founding member of the Pacific Islands Media Association. 

Patterns of the Past: Tattoo Revival in the Cook Islands is currently out of print.
